Room Supervisor/ Leader
The role of the Room Supervisor is to oversee
the day to day management of a unit within the nursery. Your key accountabilities include but is not limited to;

Manage the daily activities within the room ensuring that standards exceed the minimum requirements of the EYFS, coaching and developing staff as
required

To lead by example, role modelling and supporting staff to improve their practice.

Effectively plan and deliver settle sessions / moving on up sessions for children and their carers.

Conduct daily audits of the room and implementing any identified actions to agreed timescales.

Coordinates staffing within the room, ensuring that the appropriate staff/children ratios are adhered to at all times.

Responsible for co-ordinating curriculum planning and daily routines within the room.

Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures

Ensure that all aspects of children’s individual needs are catered for and met

Support the management of the nursery to achieve their objective.
You should have a minimum L3 Early Years
qualification or equivalent and have experience of leading a small team of staff. You will be an excellent role model, with excellent understanding of the EYFS.

Nursery Nurse Level 3
The key area of responsibility Nursery Nurse includes
but is not limited to:
- Provide
appropriate care and supervision of the children at all times
- Promote a
happy and welcoming atmosphere for children, parents, staff and visitors.
- Be
responsible for a group of children, ensuring their personal and development needs are met.
- Plan, deliver
and monitor activities to meet children’s needs in line with the EYFS. Offer all children equal opportunities
- Support the
maintenance of a clean and safe environment for children.
- Co-operate
fully with other child care practitioners/professionals in relation to the individual child’s needs.
- Develop and
maintain professional relationships with parents and carers
- Adhere to all
policies and procedures at all times
- Role model
appropriate practice to other team members, leading by example
You are required to hold a relevant L3 Early Years
qualification or equivalent. You will be able to develop effective relationships with your colleagues and carers. You will be a motivated individual with the passion to create environments where
children can flourish.

Nursery Assistant
As a Nursery Assistant, you will support your team to
provide appropriate care and education to the children. Your key area of responsibility includes but is not limited to;
- Provide
appropriate care and supervision of children at all times.
- Promote a
happy and welcoming atmosphere for children, parents, staff and visitors.
- Contribute
towards the planning and provision of activities for children in line with EYFS
- Support
children with their individual personal hygiene needs
- Support the
maintenance of a clean and safe environment for children.
- Comply with
all company policies and procedures
- Provide
effective and regular feedback to parents on their child’s day, personal development and any other relevant information, maintaining positive relationships.
- Complete all
Nursery documentation as required timely, accurately and appropriately.You should be motivated to provide exceptional care and education to children. You will be a good communicator, be able to work
in a team and develop good relationships. Previous experience preferred although not essential as full training and development will be provided.
